You can criticize anything except global warming shibboleths, the producers of the excellent BBC TV automobile show Top Gear have found out. They did some of their usual editing with a piece on the Tesla electric car to make the item spicier and more fun, the Guardian reports, and naturally the enviros went nuts, saying the program misled viewers.
It’s a comedy show, people, not a documentary.

Evidently, the first symptom of enviromania is a loss of one’s sense of humor.
But the same could be said of anyone who drinks the secular progressive Kool-aid: a belching cow becomes a precursor of the global warming apocalypse; actually celebrating Christmas becomes an act of discrimination; trying to legitimately turn a profit becomes an act of social repression … and on and on and on.

Another neologism, this one just as sinister, has recently emerged –”incentivize” — which should be entered in the next edition of ‘Big Bird’s Sesame Street Dictionary of the Anglo-Saxon Tongue’ as follows:
“incentivize: v. To coerce; to intimidate; to control; to enslave. Ex.: Environmentalists felt it necessary to incentivize American citizens to drive less and start purchasing environmentally friendly automobiles by raising local, state, and federal sales taxes on gasoline; q.v., ‘change.’”
