Looks like Andrew Klavan will have a busy November. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt looks to release The Identity Man around 11/11/2010.

If you’ve read The Long Way Home, then you know Thomas Nelson publishers has targeted a November 2010 release for Homelanders #3: The Truth of the Matter. In addition to this he will be hitting the grown-up bookshelves with The Identity Man.

From Andrew Klavan’s website:

The urban thriller [The Identity Man] tells the story of a suspected murderer who is given a chance to start again with a new identity. “It’s a thriller about identity politics,” Andrew says.  “In an age when we define identity as race and gender, I wanted to explore  what really makes us who we are.”

Looks like Mr. Klavan will have a busy fall on the book tour circuit.

In other Klavan news – he has signed an agreement with Thomas Nelson to produce three Young Adult novels in addition to the four book Homelanders series.

The first book scheduled is Schizophrenia, which will tell the story of a young man wrongly accused of murder who joins forces with an institutionalized girl, though he’s unsure whether her visions are prophecy or madness.
